The group originally formed in 1965 with just two brothers (Billy and Bob) who were heavily influenced by “The Everly Brothers,” but Barry and John quickly joined in when their obsessions turned to “The Beatles.” Booked at school dances, college parties, church socials, hotels and clubs, their first recorded single was “All I Really Want to Be Is Me.” The boys were discovered by a producer for NBC’s “Today” show who booked them for an appearance.

Germany's rainbow uniforms have sparked a lot of speculation about the country's intentions to protest Russian laws. After all, the 2014 Sochi Olympics have suffered a severe PR hit, thanks to Russian leader Vladimir Putin's anti-gay stance. Though the uniforms don't depict a perfect rainbow, it's hard not to notice the Lisa-Frank-meets-pride-parade vibe that is definitely there, especially during these Winter Games. During the Sochi Olympics' Opening Ceremonies, Germany received attention for its rainbow uniforms.
